As an artist I create my photographs to tell stories. More importantly stories that everyone can relate too. From the time I start taking images until the last one has been taken, I am constantly searching for the perfect image. I want to show the world, what I see through my camera. I believe that the planet we live on is very precious and that we need to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. By capturing my images I am giving future generations a glimpse of what it was like to live on the planet during the 21st century. I create my photographs with the latest in professional digital photography equipment. All though my tools my be non-traditional. I use digital photography equipment because it gives me greater artistic freedom in my photography. My inspiration and style comes from using nontraditional camera angles. I shoot many different subjects in my photography, but I feel that I bring a fine art quality to subjects that may not be seen as art. I have been trained in the traditional school of art, I believe that once I learned the rules of art that I am now able to break them. In my search for the perfect photograph, I may take thousands of images. At the end of the day it is about the journey that we experience as artists. |
