I wasn't born in Texas but I got there as soon as I couldIf I call any place home it is Texas. That's where I have the most memories that made a firm impression on my life. During middle school I always took art classes for my electives, I enjoyed them very much and I was better than most kids my age. Once I got to high school art took a back seat to football. I was the starting quarterback for most of my high school years. When I had the chance to take an art class, I took it. I also took my favorite class in high school too, web design. We learned html, as well as Photoshop and other multimedia programs for web development. Then I graduated in the top 10% of my class. Off to college I went. Art School and BeyondSo I thought to myself I am a good artist and I love computers, so why not try to become a computer animator. So I headed of to the desert of Arizona. I liked Phoenix, AZ the weather was awesome and I was having a good time learning about computer art. I was the youngest intern at Rainbow Studios, the largest animation house in the Southwest. I ended up moving back home to San Antonio, TX. I continued to study computer animation. My parent decided to move to Tennessee to be closer to my grandparents so I found Memphis College of Art. I transferred in the Spring of 2003 continuing in Computer Arts. As luck has it I found a new calling photography. I was an assistant to a prominent wedding photographer in Memphis, TN as well as working freelance for Action Sports International in Atlanta, GA. I enjoyed sports so much as a kid that now I am able to be closer to the sports that taught me so much about myself. I am glad for all of the computer arts classes that I have taken because they have translated well into digital photography. I ended up graduating from Memphis College of Art with honors and a 3.44 GPA. Life after School. Now that I have graduated from college, I am now beginning a whole new part of my life, life after school. I have a firm goal of where I want to be in life. It may be a few years before I get there but, it will be sweeter once I get to where I am going. |
